Committee and Trustee Meetings Deverell Hall

Deverell Hall is managed and run by a group of volunteers who comprise of a Committee Management Team, and a board of Trustees. The Committee Management Team often includes representatives from organisations that use the hall as well as members elected at the Annual General Meeting. In addition, our group of Trustees oversee the way the hall conducts itself, how the finances are handled, and are ultimately responisble to The Charity Commission.

Any items you would like added to the agenda for discussion at these meetings should be sent to no later than 10 days prior to meeting for inclusion. Only items on the agenda will be discussed at the meeting.

Deverell Hall have organised Committee Management Meetings approximately every 3 months throughout the year. These meetings offer regular hall users the opportunity to find out what is happening at the hall, and also to have some input into the way the hall is run and managed on their behalf. It allows all concerned the chance to voice their opinion and helps everyone to appreciate what happens behind the scenes.

Our current restrictions are as follows:

MAIN HALL Maximum 120 persons at any one event.
UPSTAIRS CONFERENCE ROOM Maximum 30 persons at any one event.

Yes groups can still use the kitchen and toilet facilities as normal. Each area has hand sanitisers, hand soaps, paper towels. We ask that groups do their best to maintain control of how many people are in one area at any given time.

Although there is no legal requirement to wear them any more, there is still substantial evidence that face masks help to reduce the spread of COVID-19. It is entirely a personal choice.

No - routine contact tracing has ended. This means you'll no longer be informed if you've been in contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.
