Following the extremely sad loss of her majesty Queen Elizabeth the second, and in accordance with the wishes of King Charles III, Deverell Hall will close on Monday 19th September 2022 as a sign of respect and admiration of our dearly departed monarch.

A bank holiday across the UK has been approved by King Charles III for the day of the funeral of his mother Queen Elizabeth II, and the Queens state funeral will be held on Monday 19th September 2022. The Queen died peacefully on Thursday 8th September 2022 whilst in residence at her Scottish estate in Balmoral.

Any groups scheduled to meet on that date will NOT BE CHARGED but should advise their members that no meetings will take place on Monday 19th September 2022.

Our current restrictions are as follows:

MAIN HALL Maximum 120 persons at any one event.
UPSTAIRS CONFERENCE ROOM Maximum 30 persons at any one event.

Yes groups can still use the kitchen and toilet facilities as normal. Each area has hand sanitisers, hand soaps, paper towels. We ask that groups do their best to maintain control of how many people are in one area at any given time.

Although there is no legal requirement to wear them any more, there is still substantial evidence that face masks help to reduce the spread of COVID-19. It is entirely a personal choice.

No - routine contact tracing has ended. This means you'll no longer be informed if you've been in contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.
