Further Information and Reading

Deverell Hall have organised Committee Management Meetings approximately every 3 months. These meetings offer regular hall users the opportunity to find out what is happening at the hall, and also to have some input into the way the hall is run and managed on their behalf. It allows all concerned the chance to voice their opinion and helps everyone to appreciate what happens behind the scenes. To help plan for these meetings, it was agreed that meeting dates should be given in advance.

New members welcome and required

It should be noted that Deverell Hall is managed solely by a group of volunteers who give up their time, energy and resources to help run and maintain the hall. Whilst some aspects are paid for, such as cleaning and maintenance, repairs and improvements to the hall, the actual running and day-to-day decision making is looked after by people who are giving up some of their time to help.

Without volunteers who are willing to step up, the hall could face a real crisis where no-one is left to manage it. If this happens, then the hall is in danger of being closed, and then any regular users would be affected. WE NEED YOU and members of your groups to think about this seriously, and we encourage you to consider urgently joining the Management Committee, so that the success of the hall can continue.

It is YOUR FUTURE, YOUR HALL that is at stake, so please do consider allocating just a few hours per YEAR to help us and yourself.
