A small selection of feedback comments
We would like to hear from you if you have hired Deverell Hall, and are interested in receiving your feedback. We will (with your permission) publish your comments here, but we will NOT publish your name, or email address, or something that may personally identify you to others. You can send us your feedback (unless of course we have already contacted you about this) and this helps us to provide a better service for others in the future. Below is some of the feedback comments that we have received.
Comment 1:
Did you find it easy to book the hall:
Booking was so easy and all done online at your own convenience, although there are phone numbers clearly stated should you wish to talk to someone
Did you receive enough information about your hire and the hall:
The information provided was extremely clear, online and also when you actually get in the hall. Notices for everything
Did you find the hall clean and tidy:
Spotless everywhere, very modern, although we only used the kitchen to access water it was very clean, tidy and appeared to be newly fitted
Was there anything that you feel that we could do better:
Make it free??????? Not that it was expensive in the first place
Any other comments:
The only VERY minor problem we encountered was due to having a disco during daylight hours, the curtains directly over where the chairs are stored proved tricky to get to, but i wouldnt say it was a complaint. Excellent and I would definitely use it again, once I have recovered from an 11 year old girls disco, so it could be a while!!!!!
What did we do?
We changed the banner headings on the site pages to show clearly the telphone number that people could use if they do not have internet access on the initial site. We are now upgrading this new site to be clearer and easier to navigate.

Hi Doug,
Thank you. The whole party was fantastic and the day really could not have gone any better. We had just under 110 people arrive in the end and mainly kids!!! The hall was in a lovely condition when we arrived in the morning, and the facilities were perfect for the day - baby changing, kitchen, microwave etc etc.

We had our vow renewal on 15th August 2009 and we could not have been more pleased with the hall. It was so clean, and Doug and his wife were very helpful anytime we wanted to visit the hall. We had plenty of space and time to decorate the hall, with kitchen facilities at the ready. We had such an enjoyable evening and the hall was perfect for the occasion so thank you Deverell Hall - You can view some of our pictures here.

The information about the hire of the hall was excellent

Yes I found the hall very clean and tidy

No I feel the hall booking was handled very professionally using the email as a point of contact was very convienient

This is the third time I have used the hall for my sons birthday parties and I have always felt very happy with the hire and the facility itself.

Excellent website, excellent information by post and telephone

The hall was very clean and tidy when we arrived, the instructions on how to enter the premises, turn heaters on etc was spot on

Our entire booking went very smoothly from beginning to end. Doug was extremely helpful and was happy to regularly answer any questions I had when I thought of something new. I would definitely use Deverell hall again if I required it.

The information I received in the post was concise and explanatory, covering all aspects of the hiring of the hall.

We found the hall in perfect condition.

Our only 'hiccup' was not being able to locate the kitchen at first, lol. I think a map would have come in handy. Deverell Hall is a lot bigger than you initially believe!!

Yes, very easy after looking on the internet we just emailed through and was booked up.
Did you receive enough information about your hire and the hall:
Yes all the paperwork we received was brilliant and the information on how to pay and collect the key was also excellent thanks.
Did you find the hall clean and tidy:
Yes everything was in the correct place and was very simple to get out and pack away.
Was there anything that you feel that we could do better:
No, everything was brilliant thanks.

Again it was a brilliant hall to hold the party in thanks.
